MBE - Minority Business Enterprise
Cook County, Illinois
The Minority Business Enterprise certification recognizes businesses that are at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by minority individuals. This certification enables participation in diversity programs and contracts that include MBE participation goals.
Our MBE certification through Cook County validates our status as a minority-owned business and opens opportunities with government agencies and private sector organizations committed to supplier diversity.
DBE - Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
U.S. Department of Transportation
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program is a federally mandated program designed to remedy ongoing discrimination and the continuing effects of past discrimination in federally-assisted highway, transit, airport, and highway safety financial assistance transportation contracting markets nationwide.
Our DBE certification qualifies us to participate in transportation projects funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation, including airport, highway, and public transit infrastructure projects throughout the region.
VBE - Veteran Business Enterprise

The Veteran Business Enterprise certification recognizes businesses that are at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by military veterans. This certification demonstrates our commitment to veteran entrepreneurship and employment.
As a veteran-owned business, we understand the value that military service members bring to the construction industry. Our VBE certification connects us with organizations that prioritize working with veteran-owned businesses.
SDVOSB - Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business
Cook County, Illinois & U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
The Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business certification is awarded to businesses owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans. The federal government has a goal of awarding at least 3% of all federal contracting dollars to SDVOSBs each year.
EOS Mechanical holds SDVOSB certification from both Cook County and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, enabling us to compete for set-aside contracts and participate in programs specifically designed to support service-disabled veteran entrepreneurs.
SAM.gov Registration
EOS Mechanical is registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), the official U.S. government system that consolidates federal procurement systems and the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance.
SAM registration is required for any business that wants to bid on and be awarded federal contracts or receive federal grants. Our active SAM registration demonstrates our readiness to work on federal projects and our compliance with all necessary government contractor requirements.
